LOUD Names John Boudreau Vice President, Mackie and TAPCO Brand Group
January 18, 2007 – Woodinville, Wash. - LOUD Technologies Inc. (LOUD) today announced the promotion of John Boudreau to Vice President of the Mackie & TAPCO brand group, along with several changes and additions to the brand's dedicated management team. At the same time, the Company transferred management responsibility for the TAPCO brand to John and his team from LOUD's MI brand group.
In his new role, John will set and manage the business plans for the Mackie & TAPCO brands, as well as define all corresponding product and marketing strategies.

John brings a uniquely balanced background in recording and live sound engineering to the new role, including engineering positions at Paragon Recording and the Double Door in Chicago. He also spent several years in Application Support for Shure and Intelix before assuming progressively more senior positions in product development at LOUD, including his most-recent role as Mackie Brand Director. John is widely noted for conceiving and developing several successful Mackie products, including the TT24 digital live sound console and the ONYX mixer line.
In addition to John's promotion, LOUD announced the appointment of Steve Kawasaki to the position of Brand Group Business Director, and the promotion of Gil Perales to Brand Manager. James Woodburn continues in the role of Senior Recording Brand Manager and manages all recording product development and management.
